Synopsis

"Letter to Irma" is a text written by Benoit Bories to his daughter born on last november explaining she was born the year when the noise of the city went down. "You were born in the year when the din of the city hushed. This din had absorbed so many details that we are slowly recalling. Fragile tunes are being turned up. A new music comes to our ears. Though it was already there, we would rarely notice it. Today, it can unfold itself entirely.

My first action had been to keep records of these sounds, to play them to the world, to play them to you, so we can talk about them. And so that you can play it to others later. Maybe you will imagine tunes filling in the gaps opened by this world. A world that hushed and came to a halt for a brief moment, as these are just moments …"
