Synopsis
Summer 2019, France.
A young waiter keeps smiling at me. As we get to know each other, I wonder if this young man could really have a crush on the not so young woman I am.
Day after day, we get closer and closer, but I know for sure that it can't turn into a real love story : I'm nearly his mother's age and I'm married. We can't be more than friends. However I'm flattered that this nice young man is attracted to me. I like him, and I like that he likes me. It makes me sing and feel like a teenage girl.
He works out every day at the gym. Then I go back to swimming. I try to look young a little longer. Maybe I try to swim away from old age. Of course it's impossible. And when the young man suddenly turns away from me, I find myself crying in the pool. What will happen if I cry too much ? Will I be able to keep swimming ?
On the news, I hear that people have tragically drowned looking for a better life or fleeing persecution.
My own personal drama is not a real tragedy. I have to keep on swimming...
