Voicing the Future - International Radio Drama and Short Forms Festival

Dear colleagues,
Radio Romania announces the launch of Grand Prix Nova, International Radio Drama Festival, the Second Edition.

Grand Prix Nova aims to attract radio drama productions from all over the world. We are particularly interested in rewarding innovative artistic works that explore new approaches to radio broadcast, bring forward original texts and/or experiment with unusual sound editing techniques.

Grand Prix Nova already learns from its own experience so please observe the changes from the previous edition. The guests are invited to carefully consult the regulations of the festival.

We look forward to meeting you in Bucharest for an intense week of auditions and debates, where you'’ll also have the chance to discover life in Bucharest, a city happily blending Balkan influences and the Latin tradition.

A jury including, but not limited to radio personalities is responsible for deciding the winners of the Grand Prix Nova festival. However, every participant's active input will enrich the pool of ideas upon which the final decisions will be made.

As our festival is open to the entire world, we want to bring together many different sound cultures. All participants will become informed of the most up to date trends in radio drama, and will get to meet new and old friends alike. As a novelty this year we intend to offer you interesting off competition showcases and workshops that will enrich your experience and inspire you for the future.

Starting with 2014 will we have an ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM. The entrant must follow all the steps to validate the registration. After the process the entrant will receive a confirmation e-mail. All the registrations must be completed by March 15th, 2014.
